"Introduction to Metal Stamping" by Linda Kinnaird Jewelry

 Sterling Silver Earring

This class will open your eyes to how much fun you can have with metal stamping!

You'll learn the basics of stamping with a decorative stamp on metal, how to use a hole punch
and a dapping block, oxidize (or antique) your pieces using liver of sulphur, and polish your
pieces in a rock tumbler to give your earrings a beautiful sheen. You'll also be practicing a
lot in this class on copper so you can get the feel of working with the stamps and metal.
Then you'll finish your piece by adding your choice of either a bead or crystal to make these
earrings all about you!
Supplies including in the workshop fee; tools provided for use during workshop.
So get you girlfriends together for a fun Saturday afternoon and leave with a fabulous
pair of earrings and the knowledge to create more!
Once you start stamping metal you won't want to stop!
Maximum number in class is 4 so register early to save your seat!
Saturday, September 11th, 2010,  2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
